Our client is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting various marketing initiatives and enhancing internal communications, with responsibilities that encompass diverse aspects of marketing and administrative tasks.
Job Duties:
- Manage Pulse (SharePoint-based intranet) to keep team members informed and engaged.
- Draft internal news items, event updates, recognition posts, and employee communications.
- Update and refresh content on the WordPress website, ensuring accuracy and visual appeal.
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content daily across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, alongside writing compelling copy and designing visuals.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track performance metrics across social media platforms.
- Produce on-brand visuals, infographics, and marketing materials using Canva.
- Edit photos and videos for campaigns, events, and internal communications, maintaining visual consistency.
- Maintain and update contact and lead records using ClickUp CRM and track marketing campaign progress and outcomes.
- Assist with event promotion, materials, and logistics, while capturing photos and videos at events and in-office activities for content.
- Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns, content strategies, and engagement initiatives, supporting minor budget tracking and liaising with external suppliers when needed.
Job Requirements:
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- CIM qualification or working towards it.
- At least 1–2 years of office or administrative experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Canva, SharePoint, WordPress, and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly ClickUp.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) is desirable.
- Photography and video editing skills and a basic understanding of branding principles are advantageous.
