Corporate Associates (All levels)

Our client is an internationally renowned independent offshore law firm, at the forefront of maintaining the Isle of Man as a premier international finance centre. They pride themselves on being a community of thinkers, innovators, and collaborators. Their reputation for high-quality work is built on the sustained efforts of their staff to meet the expectations of the global market with timely responses. The Corporate Department is expanding, and they are seeking qualified Associates, with experience from 2-3 PQE through to Managing Associates, to join their team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of corporate legal matters, including banking/finance, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets. The successful candidate will work within a small, focused team, actively contributing to the day-to-day management of client files and delivering well-judged, timely advice. Collaboration with an experienced corporate team is key, allowing you to manage your own files and engage in high-value client work from the outset.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and conduct client files effectively.
  • Provide timely and informed legal advice on a range of corporate matters.
  • Collaborate with a focused team to deliver high-value client work consistently.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Take responsibility for personal development and skill enhancement.
  • Engage with aircraft/shipping and trust work where advantageous.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications with 2-3 PQE or equivalent for associate levels.
  • Experience in corporate law is essential; exposure to aircraft/shipping and trust law is advantageous.
  • A detail-oriented and results-driven approach to legal work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • A proactive attitude towards professional development and learning new skills.
