Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Company Administrator to join their busy Client Services team in the Isle of Man office. With over 40 years of experience, our client is dedicated to assisting clients in managing high-value assets, including aircraft, marine, art, property, and investments. They are globally renowned for delivering bespoke solutions tailored to the specific needs of asset owners. The organisation provides extensive in-house capabilities, ensuring compliance with corporate, regulatory, and tax legislation while offering clients detailed guidance from a specialist team of administrators. The successful candidate will play a critical role in upholding the organisational values of trust, creativity, and hard work while fostering positive relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Job Duties:
- Professionally administer a portfolio of asset-owning companies, many of which are VAT registered.
- Ensure adherence to organisational policies, procedures, and operational standards, including compliance with FSA regulations and company law.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Client Services Team and other departments to meet organisational objectives.
- Stay informed about the latest legislation and best practices in relevant areas.
- Take part in the onboarding of new business, handling incorporations, dissolutions, liquidations, annual returns, and Economic Substance reporting.
- Communicate, advise, and liaise with clients, intermediaries, banks, government bodies, registries, and lawyers to facilitate compliant client transactions.
- Review future intentions and transactions, liaising with tax advisors and lawyers for formal opinions.
- Arrange board meetings, prepare company minutes, and present relevant facts to directors.
- Perform monitoring, risk assessments, and maintain accurate company records.
- Open and maintain bank accounts, create and verify payments, and liaise with accountants.
- Attend training events to develop relevant knowledge and skills, and participate in other related tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience working at a high standard within a Corporate Service Provider, ensuring compliance with the regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proven ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- A proactive and resilient approach to tasks.
- A team player who demonstrates a good sense of humour.
- Experience interacting with government bodies, banks, lawyers, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
- Willingness to undertake further training and commitment to personal development.
- Desirable knowledge of business aviation, yachting, and the VAT system.
- Proficiency in a second language would be advantageous, as would experience in a hospitality or retail environment.
