Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects by applying best practice project management skills, tools, and techniques. This role is focused on engaging and leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions while adhering to scope, cost, and quality parameters. The position is based in the Isle of Man and is open only to residents, as it does not allow for relocation or sponsorship. The successful candidate will have the chance to work for a reputable offshore financial services group that is passionate about creating growth in Africa. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end management of projects and ensuring timely decision-making through effective communication and reporting.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct formal handover of projects into business as usual, including all required documentation and close-out reports.
  • Develop project dashboards and reports to provide accurate information regarding ongoing progress, risks, and project impact.
  • Drive implementation of information management processes to ensure project documentation meets organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and advise on project risks, delivering comprehensive risk reports to all stakeholders.
  • Engage with project and programme boards to facilitate understanding and resolution of risk concerns.
  • Identify key project stakeholders and participate in the formation of the project board.
  • Ensure effective participation of all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

  • First degree in Business Commerce or Project Management.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in business support and project management.
  • Significant experience in the end-to-end management of projects, including coordination of project teams and cross-functional resources.
  • Strong project administration skills and knowledge of project definition, planning, reporting, and resourcing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to embrace change and follow established procedures.
