This role is dedicated to enhancing business marketing as a pivotal driver for revenue growth. The Business Marketing Manager will work closely with the product, sales, and professional services teams to formulate marketing plans and execute integrated campaigns aimed at elevating the organisation's reputation within the business segment across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. This full-time position requires collaboration across departments to ensure successful marketing campaigns that engage and educate external parties on the brand and its expertise. Responsibilities also include planning and managing budgets, supplier relationships, and developing collateral that supports sales initiatives. The position will involve data compliance and adhering to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Job Duties:
- Deliver brand awareness and lead-generating marketing campaigns by collaborating with internal teams to gather insights for campaign plans, through to creative concept development, execution, and post-campaign analysis
- Plan and manage media strategies, including budgeting and contract negotiations
- Oversee external website content development and management via CMS systems while driving optimisation of the digital strategy
- Develop and produce various collateral materials to support Corporate Account Directors, such as brochures and sales presentations
- Create engaging content for external websites and social media channels as part of lead-generating campaigns
- Execute and manage the brand strategy and guardianship of the business brand
- Coordinate educational events for customers in collaboration with suppliers and industry partners
- Organise corporate hospitality events for enhanced customer engagement
- Manage budgets and financial administration related to marketing campaigns
- Act as the main point of contact for partner distributor channels, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to and market development funds are effectively managed
- Support suppliers in developing co-marketing plans and executing campaigns
Job Requirements:
- Educated to CIM/Degree level
- Minimum five years' experience in marcomms
- Proven track record in campaign planning, event execution, and digital strategy
- Experience managing above-the-line agencies and third-party suppliers in an outsourcing environment
- Highly desirable: experience in corporate/B2B marketing, CRM management, and the telecoms/IT sector, as well as event and partner management experience
- Personal attributes: dedicated, enthusiastic team player with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Must also demonstrate strong communication skills to articulate plans and results to key business stakeholders.
