New Business Senior Administrator

Our client is seeking a hardworking individual to join their team as a New Business Senior Administrator, providing high-quality services to clients and introducers. The Onboarding team collaborates with Business Development, Risk, and Compliance colleagues to ensure that all processes adhere to internal and regulatory policies. This role is crucial in delivering efficient service while maintaining compliance and mitigating risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the account opening process, which includes vetting individual, corporate, trusts, and complex structures with minimal oversight. A strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy are essential to succeed in this results-driven role. The candidate will also be involved in various projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and control effectiveness within the team. By upholding the group's values of excellence, integrity, and innovation, the chosen individual will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the initial vetting of new business applications and completing the account opening process with minimal oversight.
  • Assess and validate documentation provided during onboarding to ensure a clear understanding of client relationships.
  • Complete high-quality annual high-risk reviews for all client types and introducers, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Conform to the company's AML procedures and guidelines at all times.
  • Work on various projects to improve service, create capacity, and ensure control effectiveness within the team.
  • Undertake additional tasks within capabilities, as requested by the line manager, while embodying the group's core values.

Job Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly regarding complex but routine matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with Microsoft CRM experience being advantageous.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Ability to conduct customer due diligence processes with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of validating and verifying the Source of Wealth and Source of Funds.
