Crew Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Crew Manager to join their team in the Isle of Man. This role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of crew management for designated clients, underlining a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both external clients and internal teams. The Crew Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with crew management procedures, which include the preparation of Crewing, Management, and Seafarer Employment Agreements, as well as supervising monthly payroll activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling complaints and resolving seafarer disputes, leveraging their knowledge of international and national maritime regulations. JOB DUTIES:

• Oversee the preparation of Crewing, Management, and Seafarer Employment Agreements.
• Supervise monthly payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Handle complaints and resolve disputes involving seafarers effectively.
• Provide exceptional service to external clients and internal customers consistently.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant international and national maritime regulations.
• Implement a systematic approach to crew management, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of international and national maritime regulations.
• Previous experience in HR and employment, coupled with management and leadership skills, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a systematic work approach.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
