Pharmacy Assistant x 2

Our client is seeking two Pharmacy Assistant to join their established team in Guernsey. This full-time role is customer-focused, requiring excellent service and retail skills in a pharmacy setting. While previous experience is desirable, full training will be provided. A commitment to further development and education is essential.

Job Duties:

  • Receive prescriptions and assist with processing.
  • Perform monetary transactions using a cash register or computerised payment system.
  • Use computer systems to generate stock lists and labels.
  • Order, receive, load, and unload deliveries.
  • Sell over-the-counter medicines and advise customers where appropriate.
  • Answer customer queries in person and by phone, referring complex issues to the pharmacist.
  • Assist customers in finding products and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of product pricing and stock locations within the shop.

Job Requirements:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach with a flexible and responsible attitude.
  • Retail or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance.
