Our client is seeking two Pharmacy Assistant to join their established team in Guernsey. This full-time role is customer-focused, requiring excellent service and retail skills in a pharmacy setting. While previous experience is desirable, full training will be provided. A commitment to further development and education is essential.
Job Duties:
- Receive prescriptions and assist with processing.
- Perform monetary transactions using a cash register or computerised payment system.
- Use computer systems to generate stock lists and labels.
- Order, receive, load, and unload deliveries.
- Sell over-the-counter medicines and advise customers where appropriate.
- Answer customer queries in person and by phone, referring complex issues to the pharmacist.
- Assist customers in finding products and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of product pricing and stock locations within the shop.
Job Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Basic organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach with a flexible and responsible attitude.
- Retail or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
