Senior Company Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior Company Administrator to join their busy Client Services team at their Isle of Man office. The selected candidate will be responsible for administering a portfolio of asset-owning companies. This full-time role involves organising CDD collection, incorporation, VAT registration, daily administration, invoicing, and liaising with the client accounts team for bookkeeping and the production of annual financial statements. Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of asset-owning companies, many of which are VAT registered, in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, FSA regulations, company law, VAT regulations, and asset-specific rules.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Client Services Team and other departments to support the company’s aims and ambitions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest legislation and best practices in relevant areas.
  • Participate in onboarding new business, incorporations, dissolutions, liquidations, annual returns, IOM Beneficial Ownership register, and Economic Substance reporting.
  • Communicate and liaise with clients, private offices, intermediaries, banks, government departments, registries, and lawyers to achieve client companies' aims in a compliant manner.
  • Review future intentions and planned transactions, documents, and agreements, and liaise with tax advisors and lawyers for formal advice and opinions.
  • Arrange board meetings, present facts to directors, prepare company minutes, conduct monitoring, risk assessments, and company reviews, and maintain company records.
  • Open and maintain bank accounts, create and verify payments, prepare and issue client company invoices, and liaise with accountants and bookkeepers.
  • Prepare and distribute client invoices and manage credit control.
  • Attend training events and further develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in other relevant work as requested.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience working at a high standard for a Corporate Service Provider, with the expertise to comply with the regulatory environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proven track record of working independently to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to work.
  • A team player with a good sense of humour.
  • Previous experience working with government bodies, banks, lawyers, and UHNWIs.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and continual personal development.
  • An understanding of business aviation and yachting.
  • Knowledge of the VAT system.
  • A second language.
  • Experience working with customers in a hospitality or retail setting.
