Senior Fund Administrator / Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator / Manager to join their Fund Services department. This is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Director, Fund Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing fund operations, registrar and transfer agency duties, and corporate secretarial tasks. Job Duties:

  • Negotiate borrowing arrangements on instruction from the Investment Manager and supervise their implementation.
  • Ensure the Fund adheres to all service agreements and complies with its Offering Document and Investment Parameters.
  • Declare the suspension of the valuation of net assets when necessary.
  • Prepare reports, notices, and documents required for shareholder meetings.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing Fund activities and results for Directors.
  • Arrange for increases in the authorised share capital of the Fund as instructed by the Directors.
  • Carry out all necessary filings to relevant regulatory bodies or Stock Exchanges.
  • Receive applications for investment into the Fund.
  • Determine applicant eligibility as a Qualified Holder according to the Offering Document.
  • Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) checks and ongoing monitoring.
  • Manage the allotment of participating shares and determine the amounts payable or receivable on issue/redemption.
  • Apply equalisation adjustments at issue/redemption points.
  • Arrange for the publication of subscription and redemption prices.
  • Prepare certificates, statements, and notices related to the issue and redemption of shares.
  • Maintain the share register and manage all shareholder queries.
  • Maintain statutory registers and minute books.
  • Prepare board packs, attend board meetings, and draft minutes and resolutions.
  • Ensure all necessary corporate filings are completed.
  • Fulfil additional tasks as required by the role and business needs.
  • Provide cover for absent colleagues during holidays or illness.
  • Promote a positive image of the Group, communicating its profile to clients.
  • Assist the wider Client Services department as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fund services.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workflows.
  • Proactive, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Practical understanding of client service delivery.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly.
  • Understanding of products and services provided by the Group.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management.
  • Experienced in Financial Services (Trust and Company) administration functions.
  • Familiar with FSA Anti-Money Laundering requirements, Data Protection, and relevant legislative acts.
