Backend Software Developer

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain backend systems that support Turbo's real-time gaming platform
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Analyse and optimise existing codebases to enhance performance and scalability
• Work with peer-to-peer technologies and contribute to the development of onchain permanent storage solutions
• Utilise Docker and Docker Compose to manage development environments
• Collaborate with the team to implement AI tools such as ChatGPT and work with smart contract languages like Solidity and Rust
• Contribute to the ongoing innovation of Turbo’s Quickbuild platform for game deployment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field recent graduates welcome, or a minimum of 1 year of software development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, and Shell scripting
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Strong ability to quickly understand and analyse existing codebases
• Eagerness to learn new tools and concepts, especially AI tools for software development and blockchain-related technologies such as Solidity and Rust
