Associate, Consulting

Our client is seeking an Associate to join a growing Consulting team based in Jersey or Guernsey. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop consulting skills across a broad range of client mandates, working closely with colleagues in consulting, legal, and governance areas. Job Duties: 

  • Deliver high-quality client service by managing client mandates to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry standards to provide relevant products and services.
  • Work with the Senior Associate to provide technical advice on products and services to clients.
  • Develop key client deliverables, such as reports and working papers, managing input from the Senior Associate and Director before final submission.
  • Monitor risks, budgets, and work-in-progress (WIP) on client mandates, identifying efficiencies where possible.
  • Manage client expectations and build relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Support the Senior Associate and Director in preparing for business development meetings and assist with client mandate proposals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to maintain a consistent 'one firm' approach in consultancy services.
  • Liaise with Business Services teams to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, systems, and controls.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Client-focused with an ability to listen, understand client needs, and exceed expectations.
  • Experience working in a professional services environment.
  • High level of intellectual rigour with a desire to build and maintain technical expertise.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to facilitate workshops both internally and externally.
  • Risk, governance, or regulatory expertise is preferred, but transferrable skills and technical knowledge will be considered.
