Job Duties:
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and suggest innovative solutions.
- Assist with tax compliance, including VAT returns and corporation tax computations.
- Provide ad-hoc support to senior management and contribute to the development of financial strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new responsibilities.
