Due to growth our client is seeking a Trainee/Junior Corporate Governance Officer to join their Fund Administration team, on a permanent basis, to provide support for the administration and governance of both private and publicly listed structures. You will provide administration, co-sec and general management services to client/company funds, ensuring high standards of customer service are met and compliance with applicable regulations / company policies & procedures / corporate governance framework. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of UK and IOM company law, statutory filing requirements, and co-ordinating AML/CDD on-boarding and monitoring. An awareness of shareholder services, London Stock Exchange and TISE listing requirements would be desirable.
In this new and exciting role you will assist the Tax team with the preparation of personal and company tax returns. Your responsibilities will also include preparing supporting schedules by analysing backing documentation, liaising with authorities regarding tax and social security queries and developing an understanding of the firm’s products and services and the client base, in addition to the checking of assessments, statements of account and surcharge notices for accuracy and highlighting any anomalies. This role would suit a School Leaver / Graduate who has the willingness to undertake studies towards a relevant professional qualification.

The Fund Accountant will be part of a team providing accounting and financial reporting services for established and new real estate and private equity funds. You will service the needs of a portfolio of private equity, real estate clients and associated SPVs, and liaise with the CFO and finance team of the funds, third parties and any other external advisors necessary to ensure all issues are resolved and deadlines are met. Additionally, you’ll be involved in the take-on and setting-up of new clients coming into the team and assist with a number or interesting and varied ad-hoc projects.
