Our client is seeking a Senior US Tax Consultant to join their professional team, on a permanent full-time basis. You will work with global tax teams to provide integrated and coordinated tax advice to multinational clients, whilst motivating and managing your team members. You will also participate in and supervise the preparation of US income tax deliverables for a range of clients such as international investment funds, partnerships and corporations. Additionally, this role will involve the preparation of various foreign reporting disclosures and forms including Forms 926, 5471, 8865, FinCen 114, and PFIC statements. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field, 3+ years’ experience within the field of US taxation / tax reporting for investment funds and the ability to take initiative and prioritise workloads.

You will assist with all aspects of company secretarial matters, including the preparation of agendas, collation and distribution of board packs, shareholder meetings and drafting minutes for routine meetings. You will also assist with the collation of documents for appointed tax advisors to enable the preparation of tax returns for administered entities and prepare manual and electronic payment instructions to settle company expenses and assist with the maintenance of the electronic payments library. The successful candidate will be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably ICSA Certificate level or equivalent), have some financial services experience and be computer literate with good interpersonal skills.

Itchyfeet are working on a new opportunity for an Assistant Manager, Client Tax Reporting, to join their professional team, on a permanent full-time basis. You will perform daily operational requirements in line with procedures and deadlines including, but not limited to, reporting, FATCA and CRS functions, relevant banking and custody documentation / KYC processing and data maintenance. You will also review and validate tax documentation for custody / KYC during the on-boarding process and periodic review/trigger reviews. The successful candidate will have general knowledge and understanding of the rules, workings and principles of the major international securities markets and the ability to work independently with sound personal organisation, prioritisation, communication and time management skills. It would be advantageous if you had knowledge of Qualified Intermediary (Q) regime and US tax regulations.
