Dealing & Settlements Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled Dealing and Settlements Manager to lead and oversee all operations within the Dealing and Settlements teams. This role is key to ensuring efficient team performance, maintaining service level agreements, and aligning operations with the risk framework and regulatory standards. The Dealing and Settlements Manager will work closely with ExCo, Client Service Managers, and staff, promoting an environment of service excellence, process improvement, and team development. Job Duties: 

  • Drive exceptional customer service, continuously improving delivery to exceed market expectations
  • Lead, manage, and develop the team, creating a collaborative, skill-enhancing environment
  • Design and implement personal development plans for team members, ensuring support for individual growth
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and maintain team performance records
  • Document, maintain, and ensure the effectiveness of all processes and procedures
  • Introduce efficient process improvements to optimise business operations
  • Assume responsibility for operational risk and compliance, ensuring the team’s adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Act as the primary defence line, identifying, mitigating, and controlling risks in the area
  • Represent the Investment Operations team in project and change management initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency


Job Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience managing client-facing teams within Financial Services; knowledge of Investments is advantageous
  • Proven track record of service delivery and continuous improvement across people and processes
  • Customer-focused problem-solver with experience in diverse customer service scenarios
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in coaching, collaboration, and team development
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and implement a team vision
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and influence skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration
  • Goal-oriented with a strong focus on meeting timelines
