Job Duties:
- Provide expert tax advisory services to clients, ensuring tax planning aligns with their financial and legal goals.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of complex tax returns and related documentation for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
- Monitor and manage changes in tax regulations across relevant jurisdictions, proactively advising clients on implications and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the Trust and Corporate Services teams to ensure consistent client service and regulatory compliance.
- Review and manage client tax records to maintain accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date reporting.
- Lead tax compliance audits and implement best practices to enhance the organisation’s compliance framework.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic tax initiatives to contribute to the growth and efficiency of the tax function.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships, understanding and responding to their unique tax needs.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior staff within the tax team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Job Requirements:
- Professional qualification in tax (e.g., CTA, ATT) or a related field with a strong focus on international tax services.
- Extensive experience in tax management within a corporate or trust services environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions, particularly within the Isle of Man, UK, and other offshore centres.
- Proven ability to manage complex tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and corporate entities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
