Junior Client Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a Junior Client Bookkeeper to join their Bookkeeping and Accounting Team. Reporting directly to the Client Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for handling fundamental bookkeeping tasks, including bank, investment, and property bookkeeping, as well as control reconciliations. Job Duties: 

• Develop effective working relationships with Trust Administration Teams, proactively resolving queries
• Take ownership of daily bookkeeping tasks, prioritising workload, and communicating with the line manager and third parties
• Maintain a solid understanding of online banking and accounting systems, adapting quickly to new systems as required
• Meet personal targets for time recording and utilisation, ensuring business risk targets are achieved
• Complete and support control reconciliations for basic bank, investment, and property bookkeeping
• Support peers on project work and special tasks as needed

Job Requirements: 

• Prior experience in trust and company bookkeeping (beneficial)
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to produce high-quality work with a focus on accuracy
• Team player with strong motivation to exceed targets and goals
• Excellent command of English with effective written and verbal communication skills
• Actively working towards a relevant bookkeeping qualification (advantageous)
