Our client is seeking a proactive Senior Compliance Officer to lead a regulatory licence-focused Compliance Monitoring Programme and provide Board management support within a regulated TCSP and funds business. Job Duties:
- Developing and leading a compliance monitoring programme for regulatory licence activities, ensuring compliance with Isle of Man standards.
- Conducting regulatory scanning to identify changes affecting compliance and licences.
- Managing and maintaining compliance and regulatory registers, including breaches, conflicts, complaints, incidents, legal matters, and PEPs.
- Supporting special projects and assisting with FSA and audit matters.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors to provide required documentation and address compliance issues.
- Monitoring compliance office controls and tracking actions from the Risk Committee to ensure resolution.
- Assisting in the preparation of Board presentations and group committee reports.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks to ensure compliance consistency across the organisation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional diploma or certification in compliance or risk management (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CISI) preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a compliance role within a TCSP, funds, or regulated financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Isle of Man regulatory standards, FSA requirements, and governance best practices.
- Proficiency in compliance software and document management.
- Exceptional analytical, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality Board and committee reporting with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
