Our client is seeking a Dealing and Settlements Administrator to support the daily operations of investment accounts, including the creation, placement, and settlement of transactions. This role involves maintaining accurate records of assets, trading counterparties, and policyholder portfolios, as well as managing asset re-registrations, stock reconciliations, and compliance with counterparty anti-money laundering requirements. Job Duties:
- Execute daily tasks such as creating, placing, and settling investment transactions.
- Maintain accurate records for assets, trading counterparties, and policyholder investment portfolios.
- Match funds received into company bank accounts and handle asset re-registrations.
- Investigate and resolve stock reconciliation queries.
- Ensure compliance with counterparty anti-money laundering requirements to facilitate timely investments and account openings.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with policyholders, financial advisers, and investment counterparties.
- Collaborate with colleagues to discuss progress, priorities, and resolve issues while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Adhere to company Data Protection policies and mitigate risks during processing.
- Support the broader division and contribute positively to the team culture.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in financial services is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, and planning skills.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to personal development and learning new tasks.
- Organised and adaptable, capable of meeting deadlines and targets.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and a desire to understand the purpose behind processes.
- Familiarity with investment operations and the characteristics of different investment types such as equities, bonds, and collective investment schemes.
- Understanding of the roles of counterparties in the financial system, such as banks, fund administrators, custodians, and financial advisers.
