Our client is seeking qualified lawyers to join their thriving commercial litigation team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is open to junior and senior advocates, as well as lawyers from other commonwealth jurisdictions who are interested in relocating to the Isle of Man to requalify. This opportunity involves working on a wide range of complex and high-value disputes, with a focus on delivering exceptional legal and strategic advice to clients.
Job Duties:
- Provide accurate and comprehensive technical and strategic legal advice on dispute-related matters.
- Manage and run your own case files and caseloads.
- Assist senior advocates in progressing their cases as directed.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed briefing notes.
- Attend client meetings and calls, taking and circulating accurate notes.
- Draft court papers and applications.
- Support disclosure and document management projects.
- Advise on a broad spectrum of disputes, including commercial cases, shareholder disputes, trust disputes, civil fraud, insolvency, financial services, and regulatory matters.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified advocate or lawyer, with applications welcomed from both junior and senior levels.
- Willingness to requalify for those coming from commonwealth jurisdictions.
- Strong technical legal skills and experience in dispute resolution.
- Ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service and maintaining professional growth.
