Our client is seeking a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding the organisation by identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks that could impact operations, reputation, and financial stability. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance and various departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and effective risk management strategies. Job Duties:
- Identify and assess potential risks to the organisation.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on risk exposure and mitigation efforts.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Prepare detailed risk analysis reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks.
- Assist in developing contingency plans to address potential challenges.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification in Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, or a related field; certification (e.g., CRM, ARM) is advantageous.
- Proven experience in risk, compliance, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Working knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based research skills.
- A proactive approach, attention to detail, and a ‘can do’ attitude.
