Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their Compliance department in the Isle of Man. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role will support the business in meeting regulatory and legislative requirements by maintaining a strong framework of internal controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for compliance administration, client risk assessments, due diligence activities, and promoting a positive governance culture.
Job Duties:
- Handle compliance-related queries from staff, providing recommendations and guidance.
- Review and assess KYC/CDD documentation for individuals and entities.
- Conduct screening checks and internet searches on clients and associated entities.
- Ensure KYC/CDD documents comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and address deficiencies in KYC/CDD documentation.
- Conduct client risk assessment reviews.
- Perform PEP screening and enhanced due diligence activities.
- Assist with drafting compliance processes and procedures.
- Support compliance monitoring activities.
- Assist with new business screening.
- Promote a strong compliance and governance culture across the business.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of five GCSE passes (grades A-C or 4-9), including English and Mathematics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory environments.
- Understanding of offshore trust and corporate structures.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Interest in professional development, with a preference for candidates working towards ICA accreditation.
