Our client is seeking a FATCA / CRS Administrator to support their tax compliance function. This role involves ensuring compliance with global tax regulations, specifically the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reporting obligations, reviewing client structures, and maintaining accurate records in line with international tax requirements.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of FATCA and CRS compliance processes.
- Review and assess client structures for FATCA and CRS classification.
- Ensure accurate collection, validation, and reporting of client data in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit FATCA and CRS reports to relevant tax authorities within required deadlines.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance with evolving international tax regulations.
- Monitor changes in FATCA and CRS legislation and update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address any compliance gaps.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues on FATCA and CRS-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support regulatory reporting and audits.
- Assist with any other tax compliance-related tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a compliance, tax, or regulatory reporting role is desirable.
- Knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations and reporting obligations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on regulatory changes.
