Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Administrator to join their Isle of Man office on a full-time, permanent basis. This role supports the compliance function within a regulated Trust and Corporate Service Provider environment and plays a key part in ensuring adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory obligations specific to the Isle of Man. This opportunity suits an experienced compliance professional with the capability or ambition to progress into a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO) role.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and assessing business and AML/CFT/CPF risks
- Review regulatory consultations and internal procedures to identify and implement necessary updates to internal frameworks
- Remain up to date with all relevant regulatory changes, identifying and actioning amendments to internal procedures in collaboration with senior team members
- Support the completion of the Compliance Monitoring Programme, providing reports on compliance issues and recommending enhancements
- Review FATCA/CRS classifications and prepare data for submissions to relevant authorities; assist with updating related policies and procedures
- Assist in the delivery of AML training programmes (online and in-person), including inductions and refresher training, ensuring staff remain up to date with current procedures
- Maintain required registers in accordance with regulatory obligations, reporting any contraventions
- Support regulatory filings and notifications to the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority, and assist with preparation for supervisory visits
- Oversee screening of parties related to client entities, ensuring effective operation of the screening tool and assisting junior compliance staff
- Review new business from a compliance perspective, ensuring appropriate risk assessments and due diligence measures are completed
- Conduct spot checks to ensure staff compliance with internal procedures and oversee regular reviews of client entities
- Provide technical guidance on compliance policy and regulatory interpretation
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ compliance experience within the TCSP industry
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF regulations applicable to the Isle of Man
- Proven experience in risk management and regulatory compliance
- Relevant ICA qualifications such as Advanced Certificate in Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering, or willingness to work towards this
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in compliance tools and systems
- Ability to manage confidential information discreetly
