Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Insurance Manager to join their team in the Isle of Man on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of client engagements within the captive insurance sector, delivering exceptional service while building lasting client relationships. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of captive insurance clients, leading service delivery, and contributing to strategic development and business growth.
Job Duties:
- Manage client relationships across a portfolio of captive insurance clients, ensuring service excellence and alignment with client objectives
- Identify client service needs and oversee the service team to ensure delivery meets agreed standards
- Handle insurance renewals and underwrite new insurance covers as required
- Ensure all client requirements, priorities, and objectives are met consistently
- Share best practices and drive innovation across client services
- Support the implementation of internal strategic objectives and contribute to business growth initiatives
- Proactively identify and pursue growth opportunities with existing and prospective clients
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the captive insurance industry
- Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and effective communication across the team
Job Requirements:
- Proven insurance experience in a broking, account handling, or client executive position
- Professionally qualified with a relevant certification such as ACII or equivalent
- Experience within the captive or risk management sector
- Demonstrated ability to proactively lead client engagements and manage associated projects
- Excellent communication and client leadership skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Collaborative and professional approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality service
