Temporary Office Administrator - 6 months

Our client, a small and friendly family-run business based in Foxdale, is seeking a Temporary Office Administrator to provide essential support for an initial period of six months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position; however, school hours may be considered for the right applicant. Parking is provided on site, and the holiday entitlement is 32 days per year, including bank holidays, which are worked.

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist with customer membership renewals and new membership enquiries
  • Handle live vehicle breakdowns by entering accurate information and dispatching drivers accordingly
  • Maintain and update membership records and issue relevant membership documentation
  • Manage and update the recovery database (Apex)
  • Process card payments and handle payment-related queries
  • Carry out basic bookkeeping tasks (full training will be provided)

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic IT proficiency, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Willingness to work bank holidays (included in annual leave allowance)
  • Previous experience in administration, customer service or data entry would be advantageous
