Direct Marketing Executive

Our client is seeking a Direct Marketing Executive to join their Retention Team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a school leaver or recent graduate with a keen interest in marketing and a passion for health and wellbeing. Reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will support the delivery of direct mail and email marketing campaigns aimed at customer retention and loyalty across a diverse portfolio of brands, including vitamins, skincare, petcare, and sports nutrition.

Job Duties:

  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of monthly print direct mail campaigns
  • Draft creative briefs for marketing assets, including imagery and copy
  • Proofread and sign off print and email marketing content with a high level of accuracy
  • Help manage campaign workflow, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are aligned with commercial needs
  • Liaise with internal teams to communicate monthly campaign plans
  • Assist in the creation and analysis of monthly results reports to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct competitor reviews for vitamins, skincare, and petcare to maintain market competitiveness
  • Support email marketing efforts by proofreading, checking links and tracking, and maintaining personalisation data
  • Adapt UK email campaigns for international markets
  • Perform basic HTML coding to assist in publishing email communications
  • Assist with data analysis to improve email performance metrics
  • Test and set up DM offer codes across platforms before campaign launch
  • Manage purchase orders for print materials
  • Participate in ad hoc marketing projects and support the wider team as required

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, accountable, and team-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Prior experience in a marketing role
  • Marketing-related qualification
  • Interest in health, nutrition, or wellbeing
