Our client is seeking a Business Risk Services Senior to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is focused on helping clients identify, assess, and mitigate business and technology-related risks. The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of clients, applying their knowledge of business processes, risk controls, and data analytics to deliver high-quality assurance and advisory services.
Job Duties:
- Review client business processes, identify risks and assess the design and operating effectiveness of control environments
- Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies and opportunities for improvement
- Analyse risks linked to digital systems, cyber security, emerging technologies, IT resilience, artificial intelligence, and transformation programmes
- Use data analytics to quantify risks and support assurance work
- Manage a portfolio of client assignments from onboarding through to completion
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and stay informed on client developments
- Apply internal policies and ensure work meets ethical and professional standards
- Supervise and coach junior team members, providing on-the-job training and performance evaluations
- Monitor work in progress and contribute to billing efficiency
- Represent the firm professionally and support business development opportunities
- Maintain relevant professional qualifications and CPD compliance
Job Requirements:
- Relevant accounting or audit qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in assurance, internal audit, or risk and controls advisory
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines with a proactive approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering effective client service
