Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their organisation on a full-time basis. This role involves supporting the successful delivery of business and infrastructure projects, either as a project leader or as part of a wider delivery team. Reporting to the Project Management Team Lead, you will work with both internal stakeholders and a broad range of external professionals including architects, contractors, and engineers.
Job Duties:
- Leading or supporting the delivery of assigned projects in line with organisational priorities
- Managing infrastructure development projects to maintain or improve operational capabilities
- Overseeing contractors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintaining oversight of all project activities and escalating portfolio issues or risks when necessary
- Providing regular and accurate progress reports tailored to various stakeholder needs
- Ensuring all projects adhere to defined delivery processes and governance standards
- Establishing clear project requirements and objectives from the outset
- Applying project management standards in line with internal policies and risk protocols
- Ensuring health and safety issues within projects are adequately resourced
- Complying with local legislation, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, and Data Protection requirements
- Demonstrating the core values and professional behaviours expected within the organisation
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering projects within a structured project management framework
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk and issue assessment, planning, and financial control
- Qualified in Prince2 or an equivalent project management certification (desirable)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
- Understanding of commercial and contractual matters (desirable)
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders
