Our client is seeking a Finance Projects Business Analyst to join their Change department on a six-month contract. The role is ideally based in the Isle of Man and will support the delivery of finance transformation initiatives, including upgrades to payment platforms and improvements in operational efficiency. You will play a key role in analysing financial software systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive automation and reduce manual processes.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and regional teams to identify opportunities for reducing manual payment processes and improving automation
- Investigate regional payment platforms and provide strategic recommendations in line with local compliance
- Lead business analysis and requirements gathering for the Accurate system upgrade
- Document current and future state processes, including user stories and both functional and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate workshops with internal stakeholders to align on project scope and objectives
- Support user acceptance testing, training delivery, and change management activities
- Maintain traceability of requirements across the full project lifecycle
- Provide regular project updates to the Project Manager and senior stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of finance, payments, and reconciliations
- Background in life assurance, banking, or investments
- Experience with Worldline and Accurate systems is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to document and analyse business processes and technical requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels
