Our client is seeking a Consultant in Third Party Risk to join their Risk & Corporate Affairs function on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will play a key part in enhancing the operational efficiency and quality of data in the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) system. You will support the ongoing development and implementation of non-financial risk frameworks and policies, using data analysis and risk evaluation techniques to mitigate operational threats to the organisation.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement databases, data analytics and data collection systems to enhance efficiency and quality within the TPRM system.
- Perform risk analysis activities to identify potential events that may impact business objectives, and contribute to mitigation planning.
- Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends and patterns for reporting to various forums and committees.
- Clean, filter, and monitor data for accuracy and flag data quality issues on the Group’s TPRM platform.
- Drive the data migration process to upgrade the TPRM system and ensure alignment with industry best practice.
- Maintain the TPRM system to ensure up-to-date, accurate data for reporting and decision-making.
- Support non-financial risk event monitoring and reporting across business segments and geographies.
- Analyse data systems and flows to contribute to the development of data models on the ARAVO platform.
- Provide technical guidance to third parties and internal stakeholders on TPRM system usage and processes.
- Monitor and escalate system issues based on data analysis and ensure timely remediation.
- Support audit processes and remediation activities to promote clean audit outcomes.
- Track and follow up on TPRM workflow tasks to ensure timely completion and accurate reporting.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the TPRM system and provide assistance to internal users.
- Maintain responsibility as the Ask Risk Market Place custodian, addressing stakeholder queries.
- Manage administrative tasks relating to the TPRM Forum and ensure meetings run effectively.
- Facilitate presentations on non-financial risk activities to key stakeholders and committees.
- Respond to third-party and internal stakeholder queries within agreed service timelines.
- Log TPRM-related queries into the NALA system to ensure data consistency and traceability.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Risk Management (required); a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ total experience, with at least 3 years in the financial services sector or supporting audit and assurance functions.
- Strong understanding of non-financial risk principles and operating within regulated environments.
- Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) qualification (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in developing macros in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively in team environments.
- Familiarity with risk governance, control measures, and risk reporting methodologies.
- Comfortable presenting risk topics to varied audiences, including senior stakeholders.
