Our client is seeking a Trainee Trust Administrator to join their Private Wealth team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is open to candidates who are Entitled or Entitled to Work in Jersey. You will support senior members of the team with a variety of client administration duties, ensuring compliance with current due diligence and KYC regulations. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in trust administration while working towards professional qualifications.
Job Duties:
- Provide administrative support to Senior and Assistant Trust & Company Administrators
- Handle general office tasks such as answering phones, scanning, photocopying, and preparing correspondence and spreadsheets
- Liaise with clients and intermediaries and implement their instructions with appropriate approval
- Prepare online payments and supporting vouchers
- Assist with the incorporation and dissolution of companies and the creation or termination of trusts
- Prepare Annual Returns and statutory documentation for client companies
- Draft minutes and maintain statutory records
- Assist with file updates, scanning, and archiving to comply with record retention policies
- Respond to internal communications in a timely manner
- Contribute to remediation and project work, including data entry and research
- Carry out administrative tasks for allocated client entities, including diary actions relating to tax, assets, reviews, financial accounts, fees, and regulatory compliance
Job Requirements:

- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound understanding of regulatory, due diligence, and AML requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
