Our client is seeking General Practitioners or Specialists to join their healthcare team in Guernsey on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is a flexible opportunity offering varied working hours, with some evening or weekend availability potentially required depending on the specific role. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and evolving healthcare setting.
Job Duties:
- Deliver medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards and clinical best practices
- Prescribe appropriate treatments and medications as authorised under relevant Guernsey regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure effective care planning
- Participate in any required evening or weekend cover, as agreed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care
- Adhere to local healthcare legislation, policies, and professional guidelines
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Must be a licensed General Practitioner or Specialist, ideally registered to practise and prescribe in Guernsey
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
- Committed to maintaining high clinical standards and ethical practice
- Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed
