Statutory Manager , Statutory Team

Our client is seeking a Statutory Manager to join their Statutory Team on a full-time, permanent basis in the Isle of Man. This senior-level role involves overseeing the delivery of accurate and compliant statutory and regulatory filings for a portfolio of client entities across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for maintaining statutory records, ensuring compliance with local requirements, and supporting governance and corporate administration processes.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the statutory team, ensuring accurate and timely filings
  • Oversee the maintenance of statutory registers and ensure records are up to date and compliant
  • Ensure compliance with Isle of Man, Malta, and other relevant jurisdictions' regulatory obligations
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of annual returns, filings, and statutory documents
  • Liaise with internal teams, external regulators, and service providers regarding statutory matters
  • Lead or support company secretarial functions, including board meeting documentation and resolutions
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on internal processes and client entities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of procedures and best practices within the team
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to junior staff within the statutory team

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in statutory or corporate services within a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of Isle of Man and/or Malta corporate legislation and statutory requirements
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team within a professional services or fiduciary business
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in statutory software and document management systems
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICSA or equivalent) is desirable
