Finance Systems & Projects Administrator

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their busy Finance Systems and Projects team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to further your career with a fast-growing company based in the Isle of Man. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Systems & Projects Technical Specialist, focusing on delivering Business as Usual functions and project work aligned with the Group strategy.

Job Duties:

  • Provide daily support to the finance function, ensuring user access and handling chart of accounts updates and general system queries.
  • Administer the Group Purchase Order system, maintaining set-up and authorisation hierarchies while seeking process improvements.
  • Support the bespoke Finance Data Warehouse.
  • Assist with project support for both finance-specific and group-wide initiatives, including requirement identification, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Review existing processes and systems, providing recommendations for changes across the finance function.
  • Implement and upgrade account systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Support the reconciliation of System control accounts by analysing results, liaising with internal stakeholders, and taking appropriate corrective action.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in using and administering finance systems, accounting packages, and financial reconciliation systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Financial Services company.
  • Knowledge of the policy life cycle is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • High level of analytical and numerical skills to interpret large volumes of data.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL Server Management Services is beneficial.
  • Adaptable team player willing to contribute.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
