AML Analyst Remediation

Our client is seeking a dedicated AML Analyst Remediation to join their Customer Services AML Remediation Team. This position offers both permanent and fixed-term contract opportunities, which can be tailored to full-time or part-time schedules. The successful candidate will report directly to the AML Remediation Team Manager and play a vital role in strengthening the company's AML/CFT defence by conducting targeted reviews of the legacy back-book of business. The role promises a valuable introduction to customer due diligence and AML risk assessments in a dynamic environment.

Job Duties:

• Review policies to identify outdated customer due diligence (CDD) that does not meet current regulatory requirements, and contact clients as necessary
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure compliance
• Write up risk assessments based on findings from CDD reviews, open source searches, screening results, and transaction history
• Participate in other remediation tasks and project work as required
• Raise suspicious activity reports as needed
• Perform open source searches and write up AML risk assessments

Job Requirements:

• A basic understanding of the Isle of Man’s AML framework (or familiarity with jurisdictions like Hong Kong, Singapore, or the UAE)
• Experience using screening software such as World-Check, Dow Jones, or Moody's Grid
• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
