Accounts Administrator

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to play a pivotal role within their team. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. The successful individual will be responsible for various accounting tasks that provide essential support to the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely processing of payments.

Job Duties:

  • Ledger entry and management accounts preparation
  • Payment processing and ledger account reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations and interaction with group offices
  • Bank account reconciliations and commission calculations

Job Requirements:

  • Good understanding of accountancy and book-keeping principles
  • Strong mathematical ability and logical thinking skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Capability to work to strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

What You’ll Love:

The ideal candidate will ideally have previous office experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SunSystems is beneficial but not essential. Holding an AAT, CAT, or similar qualification, along with 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade C or above, will set candidates apart. Our client offers an attractive benefits package, which includes 22 days of holiday per calendar year (increasing with service) in addition to public and bank holidays.
