Innovation Project Manager

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Innovation Project Manager to join their dynamic Technology and Transformation team in Jersey. This full-time role requires a strong understanding of technology, business processes, and project management methodologies. The Innovation Project Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation and managing all innovation projects, as well as the implementation of Generative AI solutions, ensuring their successful execution and delivery.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with the business and the network to identify opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external partners.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Lead the Generative AI working group with colleagues from across various business lines.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of innovative solutions into existing systems and processes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the feasibility and impact of proposed innovation projects.
  • Develop business cases and project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, resources, and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress for successful project execution.
  • Manage the performance of the Business Enablement Innovator.
  • Oversee project discovery, monitoring, and implementation for all automation projects.
  • Ensure all Generative AI tools are tested and enabled for the firm, with licensing agreements in place.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of innovation projects, collecting feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Document and communicate project progress, findings, and outcomes to stakeholders and management.
  • Design and implement changes while assessing their impact.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technology and transformation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, etc.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within technology or digital transformation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying innovation opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, with a focus on driving business value through innovation.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their business applications.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
