Our client is seeking a full-time Social Media & Publicity Officer located in Jersey, with occasional travel to the West End of London one to two days per month. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to enhance the LinkedIn profile of five different operating companies, while also fostering a strong presence in trade and specialist press.
Job Duties:
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow the LinkedIn profile of five different operating companies.
- Enhance the presence of each operating company within trade and specialist press and secure references within articles.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the group to understand their promotional needs.
- Draft website content, press releases, press articles, and LinkedIn posts.
- Provide design and content for each operating company's website.
- Design, produce, and distribute content for the group’s quarterly internal newsletter.
- Coordinate across group business verticals to develop a cohesive communication strategy.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant professional/advanced level qualification appropriate for a role of this nature.
- Social media and/or publicity experience within financial services and the property sector preferred.
- At least five years of relevant work experience within communications.
- Experience of successfully placing on-message news stories and managing press relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to create work of a high standard, working independently while engaging disparate stakeholders.
