Junior HR Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic Junior HR Manager to join their Human Resources team. In this operational role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, including performance management, HR project delivery, and learning and development initiatives. There will be a focused emphasis on developing early career pathways specifically for lawyers. As a junior HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with the firm's goals and values. Job Duties:

  • Support the annual performance review process and talent development initiatives.
  • Assist in succession planning and career development frameworks.
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback and high performance.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, compliant, and communicated effectively.
  • Provide guidance on policy interpretation and application.
  • Support audits and regulatory compliance as required.
  • Lead or contribute to global and local HR projects aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement change initiatives and improve employee experience.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS.
  • Promote the effective use of HR systems and tools.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver induction programmes for new joiners, including cultural onboarding.
  • Organise and manage internal and external training events for technical and critical skills development.
  • Support employees pursuing professional qualifications through administrative coordination and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and implement tailored development plans.
  • Manage local talent development programmes including bursary schemes and internships.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning offerings in line with business goals.

Job Requirements:

  • CIPD qualification preferred.
  • Recent and relevant HR experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organisational development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
  • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and sound judgement.
