Education Administrator

Our client is seeking an Education Administrator to serve as the key administrator for education matters, as well as providing additional administrative support. The successful candidate must possess experience in dealing with members of the public, demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, and be capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Comprehensive cross-training in general and education administration will be provided to ensure full coverage during colleague absences or busy periods.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the professional face of the Society, managing in-person, phone, and email correspondence from Members, the public, and other professionals.
  • Communicate the Society's educational offerings clearly to all relevant parties.
  • Assist with education and training-related administration and relationships.
  • Aid in the production and distribution of the Society’s bi-weekly newsletter to Members.
  • Liaise with external contractors, including the provider of the Manx Bar Exam Course and the Exam Board as necessary.
  • Act as a point of contact for enquiries regarding entry into the profession.
  • Assist in the organisation and coordination of the annual Education programme and other Society events, including venue booking, catering organisation, invitation distribution, and response collection.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of the Manx Bar Exam course.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Education Committee, the Executive Assistant, and other Council sub-committees as required.
  • Attend meetings and training events as mandated by the Education Committee, setting up and clearing away meeting rooms as necessary.
  • Process all applications for entry into the Manx Bar and manage any associated administration.
  • Maintain an organised filing system.
  • Manage office communications, including phones and emails, providing seamless cover for colleagues during their absence.
  • Offer general administrative support to the Council and its Sub-Committees.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for the company Staff and Council/Committee members.
  • Contribute to a highly efficient, secure, and compliant operations team by critically assessing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
