Our client is seeking a Commercial Property Associate/Senior Associate to join their team under the supervision of the Head of Property. The primary focus of the role is to advise on Commercial Property transactions while also providing support for Residential Transactions and other property services, including property litigation and corporate support.
Job Duties:
- Manage and coordinate transactions from initial advice and instruction through to completion.
- Deliver high-quality, timely, and professional services that meet client needs.
- Delegate tasks and actively supervise the work of junior staff and conveyancers, as appropriate.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business development plans aligned with the firm and team’s strategy to attract new work and strengthen client relationships.
- Support the department’s progression through the effective use of technology.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities, support new ventures, and explore ways to enhance services.
- Participate in non-chargeable activities that build the firm’s internal know-how and external reputation, such as seminars, article writing, and presentations.
- Manage risk exposure in line with policies and procedures.
- Promote and reinforce the firm’s brand in all professional interactions.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 - 6 years PQE with a Jersey/UK/Commonwealth qualification.
- Relevant experience across a broad range of commercial property matters.
- Experience in Jersey property transactions.
- Proficient in delegating, supervising, and motivating others.
- Strong drafting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- A client-focused mindset, committed to delivering excellent service.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively within deadlines.
- A responsible, disciplined, and methodical approach to work.
