Audit Senior

Our client is a distinguished firm headquartered in the Isle of Man, with a commitment to providing imaginative and pragmatic accountancy and wealth management services. They are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Audit Senior to join their team. This position involves leading audit engagements from planning through to completion while ensuring the delivery of high-quality results for managerial review. The Audit Senior will work effectively to maintain strong client relationships and deliver tailored audit solutions across a diverse range of sectors. With full-time hours set at 37.5 per week, this role is vital to the integrity of the firm’s auditing practice. Job Duties:

• Lead audit engagements independently, covering planning, fieldwork, and completion stages.
• Prepare and review financial statements and audit documentation.
• Conduct audit and assurance reviews across various sectors and client sizes.
• Review audit files to ensure quality and adherence to professional standards.
• Analyse financial data, examine company accounts, and evaluate financial control systems.
• Liaise directly with clients to address queries, provide updates, and ensure a smooth audit process.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing responsibilities and maintaining clear communication with managers.
• Oversee and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback throughout the audit process.

Job Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified.
• Proven audit experience is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
• Enthusiastic, personable, and a reliable team player.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Capability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
