Junior Compliance Administrator

Our client, a leading independent offshore law firm, is seeking a Junior Compliance Administrator to join their Risk & Compliance team. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who possesses strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering results within established deadlines while supporting the compliance assurance monitoring activities in all key risk areas. Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support to ensure robustness in compliance culture. The role requires collaboration with the Head of Risk & Compliance on group compliance initiatives, as well as reporting on compliance activities as agreed. This full-time position comprises 37.5 hours per week, presenting an exceptional opportunity for those interested in furthering their professional development and career progression in risk and compliance.

Job Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Risk & Compliance team.
  • Assist with compliance assurance monitoring activities and manage action points per the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Work closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance regarding compliance and data protection strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Report monthly (or as required) in an agreed format.
  • Meet personal targets while supporting the team in achieving its goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with tasks.
  • Promptly report any issues that may affect the organisation or its clients to the Head of Risk & Compliance.
  • Utilise resources effectively and manage expenses within budgetary constraints.
  • Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects as required by the role.
  • Foster a robust compliance culture in collaboration with the Head of Risk & Compliance.
