Technical Vendor Manager

Our client is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Technical Vendor Manager to join their Technology Team. This role reports to the Procurement Lead and is instrumental in managing relationships with third-party vendors providing services to the organisation, its brands, and cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Group Policies and Company Standards, taking corrective actions as necessary. In addition, the role involves building and executing a robust commercial and procurement strategy as part of the Group Procurement and Vendor Management practices. The candidate will also be responsible for onboarding new suppliers in line with regulatory requirements, conducting segmentation reviews, and carrying out regular supplier performance assessments. Risk management is also a key component of the position, requiring the identification of risks using the appropriate technology and risk processes.

Job Duties:

• Ensure supplier compliance with Group Policies and Company Standards.
• Develop and implement a robust commercial and procurement approach.
• Onboard new suppliers in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform segmentation reviews and regular supplier performance assessments.
• Raise risks using the appropriate technology and risk processes as necessary.
• Assist the IT Contract and Procurement Specialist with Purchase Orders when required.

Job Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain Management practices.
• Previous experience in a relationship manager, relationship owner, or supply chain manager position, preferably within Financial Services.
• Proficient in using Office 365 collaboration tools.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
