International Payroll Administrator

Our client is seeking an International Payroll Administrator to effectively process international payrolls and payments in a timely manner while managing a portfolio of clients alongside in-country payroll partners. This role is fast-paced, involving a high volume of email and phone queries related to payroll processing each day. The candidate must possess strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrating innovative thinking to tackle challenges as they arise. Responsibilities include completing payroll tasks, communicating with clients regarding payroll changes, processing payrolls, generating reports, and ensuring all records are up to date. The post-holder will also need to report monthly to the Payroll Project Manager on client performance and issues. The role further involves preparing year-end returns and ensuring compliance with government statutory requirements. This position may include additional duties as required by the organisation.

Job Duties:

  • Complete all payroll tasks for clients within the Administrator's portfolio
  • Send client files and request payroll changes
  • Process payrolls accurately and on time
  • Send client payroll reports and request necessary funds
  • Distribute payslips to clients
  • Verify client funds received and set up salary payments
  • Maintain client, payroll, employee, and bank records
  • Respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Report monthly to the Payroll Project Manager on each client
  • Prepare and submit year-end returns, including BIK forms
  • Assist with any other tasks reasonably required by the organisation
  • Stay informed about statutory requirements for government returns and their implications
  • Ensure contributions are accurately paid to the appropriate government bodies and on time

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in international payroll processing
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements related to payroll and government returns
