Payroll Executive - Isle of Man

Itchyfeet is working on an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for an individual to work as part of a team, ensuring weekly contractor timesheets are processed efficiently and on time to guarantee they receive their salary payments each week. The ideal candidate will already have payroll, accounts or book-keeping experience or that of financial and banking knowledge from a similar working environment and excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel, whilst a good working knowledge of payroll systems and banking software would also be advantageous. You will need to be able to deal with complicated payroll calculations and follow a strict but methodical process to ensure contractors are paid correctly each week and on time.

Itchyfeet has a new exciting permanent, part-time opportunity, working 20 hours per week, to provide bookkeeping services to a mixed portfolio of local and international clients. You will manage your own client base and self-prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met, communicate with client staff to resolve queries in a timely manner and ensure that transactions are supported by relevant evidence. You will also run client payroll with monthly ITIS returns submissions and quarterly Social Security submissions. The successful candidate will hold, or be studying towards a professional bookkeeping or accounting qualification, have  a minimum of 3 years relevant experience and be competent in Microsoft Office, proficiency. Experience with CCH Central, QuickbooksOnline and Xero would be beneficial but in house training will be provided.

You will run the payroll and pension administration for the Channel Islands and UK on a monthly basis, along with associated reporting which supports compliance with local Social Security/National Insurance, Income Tax and Regulatory Departments, SOX and Non-SOX audits, pension and reports required by Internal Finance.
