Associate, Risk, Regulation & Fintech

Our client is seeking an Associate to join their Risk, Regulation and Fintech team. This role involves maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients, providing advice and solutions to navigate complex regulatory landscapes effectively. The team is a prominent section of the Advisory business, focusing primarily on financial services, and works closely with clients locally and globally. The successful candidate will aid clients in improving operations, innovating, and managing risks, all while leveraging talent for business transformation. Job Duties:

  • Work closely with senior personnel and engage with a variety of clients.
  • Deliver tailored services to meet specific client requirements.
  • Complete diverse assignments as part of collaborative teams.
  • Support the development of client project deliverables and proposal documents.
  • Build relationships internally within the firm and externally with client management teams.
  • Assist leadership and management teams in achieving the Advisory growth agenda.
  • Continuously develop in-depth industry experience and process expertise.
  • Remain abreast of new regulations published in Jersey and/or Guernsey.

Job Requirements:

  • A basic understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technologically minded with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to lead oneself with a problem-solving mentality.
  • Capability to prepare and review reports accurately on technical subject matter.
  • Proficiency in delivering to tight deadlines while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously develop professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
