Human Resource Manager

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a driven and talented individual to join their dedicated and professional growing team, which has a strong passion for supporting people. This role will involve overseeing the daily operations of the HR team, managing a variety of scenarios, and providing training, advice, and guidance to employees. The successful applicant will assist in leading the implementation of change in HR processes and frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. They will also provide comprehensive HR support, manage sensitive matters, and oversee performance management processes. Job Duties:

  • Develop a good understanding of the activity within the organisation.
  • Assist and lead the implementation of change in HR processes and frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business needs.
  • Provide effective leadership and serve as a role model to junior staff.
  • Manage daily team functions, including workload distribution, support, training, and performance management.
  • Deliver comprehensive HR support and business partnering assistance through advising management and managing employee absence.
  • Oversee exit interviews, coordinating all correspondence and administration, while providing management reporting.
  • Lead and resolve serious and sensitive matters, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring full documentation.
  • Coordinate and conduct the annual employee survey and deliver a wellbeing plan to enhance employee engagement.
  • Facilitate the reward scheme process, ensuring smooth operations and overseeing pay review and bonus processes.
  • Oversee the payroll process to ensure compliance and efficiency, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Deliver the annual learning and development plan, including in-house training and mentoring.
  • Facilitate the performance management annual plan, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Update HR policies and procedures in line with changes to employment law and deliver training sessions.
  • Manage the resourcing process, including overseeing induction and building a pipeline of talent.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent, with 3 years+ demonstrable experience in a supervisory HR position.
  • A CIPD qualification at Level 3 or above is desirable.
  • Professional, organised, enthusiastic, and commercially minded.
  • Strong HR knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for developing the HR team.
  • Ability to write HR-related letters, policies, and procedures, and present information clearly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a range of situations with limited precedence.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, alongside the ability to mentor, coach, and train others.
